The Container View module

The Container View module lets you browse a folder and its contents right from the dashboard, without opening the full tree.

In edit mode, tap a plus cell and choose Container View. A picker opens so you can select which folder to display.

Once placed, the tile shows the contents of the folder you chose. Tap a child folder to go deeper, or tap an item to open its details.

To change which folder the tile shows, open the tile settings with the blue gear in edit mode.
